Wanted, Not Wasted: Help Us Turn Surplus Mooncakes into Social Good!

Each year in Hong Kong, it is estimated that over 3.2 million pieces of mooncake end up in landfill. Help us stop this Mooncake Madness and spread some Mid-Autumn Festival joy instead, by joining hands with Feeding Hong Kong to save and share surplus mooncakes this September.

Simply drop off your surplus mooncakes at one of our community collection points across the city.  In turn, we will share these tasty festive treats with frontline charities supporting vulnerable communities.

Feeding Hong Kong is a Hong Kong registered charity established in 2011 with a mission to save quality surplus food from going to landfills while delivering food security in Hong Kong. We have been hosting our Mooncake Madness food drive since 2018, redistributing thousands of mooncakes to senior centres, shelters, charity kitchens and other non-profit programmes.
