Chamber in the Community

Our community outreach initiative is to foster relationships, support local Hong Kong NGOs and provide our members with an opportunity to give back and support those underserved. We aim to do this by helping to raise awareness, advocate, provide resources to enhance and strengthen the NGO partners. As a Chamber, we can also help to bridge connections between for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.

We have recently partnered with HandsOn Hong Kong, a local charity whose mission is to empower everyone in Hong Kong to volunteer by developing service programmes in partnership with local, under-served non-profit organisations and connecting them with the volunteer manpower they need to achieve their mission.

The conversation about mental health is more crucial than ever following the World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2024. Let's take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental health in our workplaces. This year’s theme, 'Workplace Mental Health' highlights the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities.

We shed light on the declining signs of mental health in the workplace by sharing this infographic designed by centralmindsltd that outlines key signs that may suggest someone is struggling with their mental health.

Recognising these signs early can make a significant difference. If you or someone you know is experiencing these challenges, we encourage you to reach out for support. Resources are listed as an attachment to this post.

Let's work together to create a supportive environment where everyone feels empowered to seek help.
