Please see attached Memorandum we have prepared from Head of Trade Policy William Bain on what the discussions mean for business and the issues we propose to engage government upon as UK-US discussions on trade, investment and the economy enter a new phase. We will be putting this to Government this week.

The Prime Minister and President of the United States had a wide-ranging discussion on the future of Ukraine, defence, security and trade in the White House last Thursday. From print and online to broadcast media on Thursday evening and Friday morning, the BCC led business reaction to the outcomes and what they mean for the future of transatlantic trade and investment.
