Basic Cantonese Training course (Phase 2) (for English Speaker) co-organised by HKTE with PEAK, VTC

Following the positive feedbacks of the Cantonese beginners’ class, we're pleased to share the details of the Basic Cantonese Training Course (Phase 2) for English speakers, co-organised by HKTE with PEAK, VTC.

This in-person course is designed for participants who possess equivalent foundational understanding of Chinese* , helping them engage in more natural conversations within authentic Hong Kong contexts. Learning Focus of the Course will be on workplace expressions, personal health, leisure, directions, local culture & traditions.

* Foundational understanding of Chinese: Basic Cantonese phonetics, self-introduction, numbers, everyday expressions, etc.

Course Dates: 11,14,18,21,28 May and 1 Jun 2026 (Mon/Thu)

Time: 6:30 – 8:30 PM (6 sessions, 12 hours total)

Venue: 9/F, VTC Tower, 27 Wood Road, WanChai

Fee: HK$2,000 (includes textbook)
