Anne KerrChairMott MacDonaldRead moreRead lessAs Chair of the Environment and Energy Committee (2007 – 2016), Anne has assisted in the preparation of submissions to the government on climate change, air and water quality objectives, sustainable development, the CE's policy addresses and participated in the debates on a wide range of topics of interest to Committee Members and the Community at large. She took up the Vice Chair role on the General Committee in 2016 and has continued to support various Committees including Environment and Energy Committee. In recognition of the cross-cutting nature of the smart cities agenda which is being promulgated by HK Government, Anne established the Smart City Forum which draws its membership from across the Chamber with the express intent of sharing information, informing, showing leadership and providing direction in this diverse and fast growing sector of interest, too both the public and private sectors. Her Chamber priorities for 2017/18 include focused lobbying of government in terms of ensuring an integrated approach is adopted for development initiatives and particularly those around the Smart City Agenda, as well as recognition and action on climate change and energy and water resource issues. As Managing Director Greater China and Global Head of Cities at Mott MacDonald Anne has access and engages with city leaders and officials in many parts of the globe and she works as an informal “ambassador” for Hong Kong’s achievements as well as bringing examples of best practice back to Hong Kong.
Executive DirectorPaul McCombRead moreRead lessPaul is the Executive Director of the Chamber and is responsible for the Chamber’s overall management, its financial status and staff. Paul joins us from the UK’s Department for International Trade where he was responsible for developing and delivering the UK’s strategy to achieve GBP 1 trillion in exports by 2030.
General ManagerJessie YipRead moreRead lessJessie is the General Manager of the British Chamber and is responsible for the internal operations of the Chamber.
Finance ManagerMichelle CheungRead moreRead lessAs the Finance Manager of the Chamber, Michelle's responsibilities include handling the day to day financial transactions of the Chamber, the full set of accounts, bank reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly reporting package for the General Committee.
Business Policy & Corporate Relations ManagerChristy NgRead moreRead lessHaving studied MA Politics at the University of Glasgow and experienced in shadowing a political party member in the UK, Christy has developed great interests in politics and is now responsible for policy-related work which requires communicating effectively with different sector specialists and experts to lobby and put together submissions and proposals to Governments and organisations. She is also responsible for maintaining close relationships with Sterling members and looks after the following policy-focused committees: Business Policy Unit, Financial Markets Committee, Environment & Energy Committee, China Committee, CSR Steering Group and Smart Cities Forum. Before her current role, she was the Executive Assistant of the Chamber.
Marketing, Communications & Corporate Relations ManagerKarrie LamRead moreRead lessKarrie is responsible for the overall marketing strategy and external communications of the British Chamber. This requires communicating effectively through the Chamber’s digital platforms and various publications that the Chamber compiles. Karrie is also responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Sterling members and looks after the Luxury & Retail, Innovation & Technology, Creative Industries and Marketing Committees. Karrie has over nine year’s experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, and donor relations in non-profit industries.
Events & Sponsorship ManagerMartine McKenna
Read moreRead lessMartine is the Events & Sponsorship Manager overseeing the British Chamber's active events programme of briefings and seminars, as well as managing major events and series. She is also responsible for sponsorship and partnerships, working with sponsors to create stand out events and content-driven series that enrich the Chamber's events offering. Martine is also the Chamber's representative on the Women in Business Committee. Martine has over seven year’s experience in events and content curation for globally recognized companies such as Apple and TEDx.

Read moreRead lessSilvia is the Membership Services & Development Manager for The British Chamber. Her role within The Chamber is to recruit new members and look after existing members. Silvia is also the Chamber representative for the Real Estate Committee, and the SME and Start-up Committee.
Senior Events CoordinatorAngela LeungRead moreRead lessAngela is a motivated and experienced event coordinator managing all events’ logistics, speakers, content and program at the British Chamber. Angela is the Chamber's representative on the Future Leaders Committee. Angela has over six years’ experience in events industry. She has operated events with different formats from 100 -3000 people over 4 countries of in-person and virtual events which across different industries of Fintech, Blockchain, Marketing, HR, Logistic and the Start-up community.
Executive AssistantTerrine LiRead moreRead lessTerrine supports the Executive Director by managing appointments, prepares correspondences with government and leading industry bodies, arranges meetings and travel plans. Additionally, she assists the Chamber team and ensures its effective and efficient operations by providing administrative and clerical services. Terrine is also the Chamber’s representative on the Education Committee, and the Healthcare Committee.
Adminstrative AssistantCatherine TangRead moreRead lessCatherine works closely with the events, marketing and membership team and looks after the administration and registration of individuals at all Chamber events. If you have any questions about your event registration, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Catherine. Catherinealso provides administrative and clerical services, and general office support in order to ensure effective and efficient operations of the Chamber.
