Retail Fraud and Cyber-security

Retail Fraud and Cyber-security

Sponsored by

High-profile cases of retailers coming under cyber-attack are more and more common. This is a serious challenge for businesses that increasingly seek to engage with their customers online. But - as we have seen - even the most traditional retailers are vulnerable: all it takes is a POS. Whether online or offline, retailers need to preserve the trust their customers have in them.

In this, the third British Chamber / PwC Retail & Consumer breakfast, we look at what happens when a business experiences a cyber-attack. We look at the technical, financial and reputational impacts as an attack unfolds, and what can be done to mitigate them.

Participants at this breakfast will also be given access to the Retail & Consumer section of PwC's latest Global State of Information Security survey. This is an opportunity to gauge how information security and retail professionals view the level of threat in their markets.
